A UPS driver adopts pit bull after the death of its owner

There hardly comes a time when you would want to leave a dog that waits for you every single day. Following is the story of a kind-hearted UPS driver who adopted a dog who loved to see her and would go crazy on her visits.

Katie Newhouser, a UPS driver used to regularly visit a client named Tina at Rancho Cucamonga, California and eventually developed great bonds of friendship with the client’s pit bull, Leo. She says, “Whenever I’d turn up at the complex, he’d apparently go crazy, and he’d want to come down and see me. He just took a liking to me for some reason. He’d always come up and lick me.”

Not just that, Leo used to jump into her truck and would sniff around. He was so fond of Katie that when he sensed she had to go, he wouldn’t let her leave.

Katie returned to Tina’s place after a tad vacation but discovered that she had passed away and left Leo with her son who was a busy Marine. On learning this, Katie did what any sane person would do! She asked the son if she could take Leo along so that he gets proper care and time.

Although Newhouser already had 3 dogs at her home, she knew it was Leo’s new home now. Katie says that he did wail at night, remembering Tina for some days but the cute little doggo is now happily settled at her place. Leo wanted someone in his grief and couldn’t have found someone better than this UPS driver who later became his owner.
